20 EASY FUN Minutes!

6 Simple Steps!


STEP 1

Place molds on Cooling Palette™ and grease all with spray oil. (mold must stay flat on pouring surface or candy may spill from under mold.)

Insert a stick 1 inch into each Easy-clip™ to hold stick securely.

 

Step Two Making Suckers

STEP 3

Cook recipe to 300 degrees, add flavor oils and food coloring.

Pour hot cooked candy into molds (see Recipe Below)

Add candy eyes and decorations while still hot!

Delicious Stove Top Homemade Suckers Recipe

 

1 cup Sugar 1/4 tsp. Oil Flavor (some flavors less)
1/2 cup Water 1/3 cup Light Corn Syrup
Liquid Food Coloring (as desired) Candy Eyes and/or Decorations

Mix sugar, water and syrup in light weight pan over medium-high heat.  Bring to boil, add candy thermometer, cook to hard crack stage (300 degrees).  Remove from heat.  When bubbles simmer down, stir in oil flavoring and liquid food coloring.  Mixture is now ready to pour into candy molds in Step4

 
 

Delicious Microwave Homemade Suckers Recipe

1 cup  Sugar
1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
1/4 tsp. Get Suckered Candy Oil Flavoring (some flavors less)
drops of Liquid food coloring (as desired)

            
Thoroughly mix sugar and light corn syrup in a 4-cup microwave-safe glass measure. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes and 15 seconds.* Remove from the microwave and carefully remove plastic wrap. Quickly stir the sugar mixture and then cover with a NEW sheet of plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 3 minutes and 15 seconds.* Remove from microwave, carefully remove plastic wrap and stir. After boiling has ceased, stir in coloring and then flavoring. Pour syrup quickly, but carefully onto prepared cookie sheet or onto prepaired hard candy molds. On the cookie sheet, as the sugar mixture begins to cool and harden, you may want to score candy with a large knife to mark squares. Break into pieces when cool. Cool completely. Lightly dust pieces with powdered sugar on both sides, brushing off excess. Break into small pieces. Store in airtight containers between waxed paper or wrap with poly bags.

*Important Note: All microwaves are heat differently. This recipe is designed to work in a standard household microwave with a power rating between 600-700 watts. Mini-microwaves and/or commercial microwaves are not recommended.

 
 

Delicious Homemade Suckers Recipe using Hi-Sweet

2 cups granulated sugar
4 ounces (1/2 cup) warm water
1 cup Hi-Sweet powder
1/2 tsp Get Suckered Candy Oil Flavoring (some flavors less)
drops of liquid food coloring (as desired)
Powdered sugar (optional)

Bring to a boil WITHOUT STIRRING and cook to 295° F.

Mix together sugar, water and Hi-Sweet in 2-quart light weight pan over medium-high heat. Bring to boil, add candy thermometer, cook to 295 degrees.  Remove from heat. When bubbles simmer down, stir in oil flavoring and liquid food coloring. Mixture is now ready to pour into candy molds in Step4
